TIMRAN has identified several areas in which research should be conducted. The research activities can be categorized into core-research undertakings, self-initiated research undertakings but non-core research work, collaborative research works, and commissioned demand-driven research activities.
The research results are disseminated to policy makers, civil society organizations, the private sector, and stakeholders through dissemination workshops and are also published in various publications of the advocacy groups. During the strategic period TIMRAN will conduct the execution of situational analysis, research and publicize positive traditions on women leadership, research on how to eliminate the barriers that hinder women’s participation; Research on the legal and policies gap that hinder women’s participation; reviewing media landscape against women’s leadership; researches more information as a baseline across all segments; and knowledge management and public relation
