TIMRAN staff started a five-day ToT on Political Communication Skill

TIMRAN staff started a five-day ToT on Political Communication Skills on March 18, 2024, G.C.

The skill training aimed at preparing the staff to support women’s meaningful political participation in the upcoming elections of the nation.

In her opening remark TIMRAN Executive Directress (ED), Eyerusalem Solomon, noted TIMRAN established and strives to address women’s meaningful political participation and decision-making capability within the nation’s politics.

She added last year this training was piloted for women political members and leaders comprised from different political parties of the country by accessing them through their coalition.

In the upcoming time, the nation has elections, so as a civic organization working on women’s political empowerment, the staff needs to get such skill training to commit their work professionally as trainers and facilitators of women in politics, electees, and electors, she underscored.

Lastly, she thanked the GIZ-Civil Peace Program for their generous financial support to conduct TIMRAN staff ToT on Political Communication skills.
